Membership

Universities and other institutions which perform or support scientific research are invited to become full members of the association. The design of the association and the rules for its membership underpin the willingness of the Austrian scientific community and of its institutions to deal autonomously with problems arising from scientific misconduct. Each member organisation is obliged to pay an annual membership fee (based on the size of the institution) and to cooperate with the agency in the cases of alleged scientific misconduct involving members of their staff.
